Today we see God’s encouragement through Paul’s journey to Thessalonica that we are to be not just students of God’s Word, but “confirmers” God’s Word as well. That is why we should always be open and ready to receive whatever God wants to say to us….But we also must first “confirm” that it is “indeed” God’s Word that is saying it and not simply “man.”

There are many who are going astray today because rather than simply believing God’s Word for what it says and doing it…They are listening to false teachers who are either convincing them that God’s Word is not true and that you can’t take it “literally.” Which means now they can tell you what it “really” means.
